1.Product Introduction

Montmorillonite is the active ingredient in the medical bentonite. It is a kind of white insipid and non-irritating powder. Medical bentonite has a good adsorptive capacity, cation exchange capacity, water absorption ability, suspension property, dispersity, cohesiveness and thixotropy. Due to its harmfullessness to neural, respiratory and cardiovascular systems, so medical bentonite is widely used in medical field.

2. Product Useage

Medical bentonite is widely used in the clinical treatments. For example, it can be used for treatments of diarrhoea , digestive, neonatal secondary gastrointestinal bleeding, antagonistic erythromycin gastrointestinal disorders, treatment of oral ulcers and pediatric stomatitis, treatment of fungal enteritis, the treatment of neonatal and infant jaundice, treatment of swallowing syndrome and so on. Besides, medical bentonite(montmorillonite) can be used in drug formulation, such as in the formulation of purification of penicillin acylase.
