1. Large range of production increase. When using column mill grinding slag, the average grain diameter of the powder is less than 0.5mm, among then more than 20% less than 0.08mm. So treating it as a pre-grinding machine can significantly improve ball mill’s working status, reduce its burden on crushing and grinding, improve system’s production capacity which increasing more than 50%.
2. High power consumption. Firstly, column mill’s effective power is higher than ball mill, after using pre-grinding system, production capacity of each machine is improved while the unit power consumption significantly reduced (generally lower 20Kwh / t); secondly, lighten ball mill’s load; thirdly, at the premise of improving production capacity for each machine, to the regions implementing section electricity charge, column mill can save plenty electrical charges by off-peak power saving mode.
3. Small environmental pollution. Noise less than 80dB, basically no flying dust.
4. Good grinding effect. Due to column mill’s unique grinding function, material powders’ interior lattice structure is destroyed. Not only improves its abrasion-resistant ability, but also increases superfine slag’s specific surface area and liveness. Besides, materials formed a steady bed in grinding intracavity, what won’t cause mateial leakage, that can keep a homogeneous and stable partical size distribution.
5. Small investment in technically improvement. Simple installation, small occupation of land area, less accessory equipment, no need to build a specialized factory, even it can have technically improvement with non production halts.
6. Easy maintainance. Column mill works under medium speed and medium pressure, running smoothly with little maintaniance, high running effiency (up to 95%), stable partical size and small abrasion of grinding mediums (roller and liner)( wear less than 10 grams per ton). It can be used continuously more than 2 years.
