White Rhodium plating solution is a rhodium plating solution that produces a oxidized grey-black plate on gold and other precious metals for an antique look. It is used to produce a reflective white surface in a process called rhodium flashing. It is also used as a coating for sterling silver to reduce the chance of tarnishing. Plated rhodium is sometimes used for optical instruments. |
| Applications of rhodium |
1. The majority of rhodium is used as a catalyst in catalytic converters. It is also used to catalyze industrial processes.

It is a hard silvery-white metal,also used in the jewelry industry, used as a hardening agent in alloys with Platinum,classified as a transition metal from the platinum group, to produce a reflective white surface in a process called rhodium flashing.
