   SKiiP ® system is an integrated radiator, drive protection sensor features intelligent power module.
    SKiiP ® technology is characterized by:
• IGBT chip uses decentralized distribution, and thus makes the minimum heat density
• No copper substrate technology
• Spring crimp technology
• module inside the bridge arm unit parallel distribution resulting in a very low stray inductance.
    These technical features make SKiiP ® system can obtain a smaller thermal resistance, enhanced thermal cycling capability and load cycling capability (an ordinary module 5-fold) and a smaller stray inductance. At the same time, because of the low thermal resistance characteristics SKiiP ® system can be used to the smaller volume of the radiator.
    SKiiP ® system contains of the SKiiP ® 2 and SKiiP ® 3 two generations, SKiiP ® 3 SKiiP ® 2 based on Al2O3 substrate, but also increase the water-cooled module AlN substrate choice. SKiiP ® system AC side integration fast and insulated with strong electric current sensor, current detection is very convenient.

    SKiiP ® drive unit integrated within the system has the following functions:
• IGBT upper and lower bridge arm deadtime interlock function
• short pulse suppression function
• Input pulse waveform tuning function
• Input signal clamping
• Internal power supply side undervoltage monitoring (SKiiP ® 2/3), the internal power supply secondary side undervoltage monitoring (SKiiP ® 3)
• Transient overvoltage protection and reverse polarity protection
• Over-temperature protection (air-cooled products have this feature)
• Short-circuit protection and over-current protection (current sensor and Vcesat of implementation)
