Forui Alluvial Tin Ore Dressing Line in Russia

The Russian tin dressing plant adopts gravity separation to enrich tin. The monomer dissociation degree is high, so gravity separators can help t get high grade tin concentrate without ball milling equipment. Only jigging machine as rough separator and shaking table as selection separator will work greatly for this tin ore. Here is some share about the placer tin ore beneficiation flow sheet in Russia.


The enriching of placer tin ore is similar to that of placer gold ore. Screening and jigging gravity separation can get the rough concentrate. This flow sheet needs slide sieve to remove the big stone blocks and rotary screen to remove the small gravels from the raw ore. Then the tin jig separator can help to get the rough tin concentrate. This rough tin concentrate can be upgrade further by shaking table to get the final tin concentrate. The following is picture of tin beneficiation flow chart in Russia:

The raw ore will be fed to the slide sieve through loader to remove the big block stones, improve the efficiency of following rotary screen and avoid the damage to the rotary screen. The output from the slide sieve will go for rotary screen through belt conveyor to remove the gravels and guarantee the even feeding for tin jig concentrator. As kind of jigging gravity separator, it can recover the tin to the largest recovery rate with its large treatment capacity.

The tin jigger is mainly to pre-enrich the tin with highest recovery and large treatment capacity to get the rough tin concentrate, and the concentrate from jigger needs further fine selection to upgrade. With its high monomer dissociation degree, there is no other process before fine selection by shaking table. I.e, only screening, jigging separation and shaking table separation can be great to get high grade tin concentrate. Here the shaking table is used to upgrade the rough concentrate from jigger, and if the handling capacity is large, the fine selection can be finished by jigger again.

However, for tin ore of low monomer dissociation degree, ball mill or rod mill can be involved to dissociate the tin grain from its attached gangue further after the first jigging separator and before the second jigging machine or shaking table.
