2. Surface Finish: Manganese Phosphate (black) shaft, Chrome grooved sleeves, combined with the deep fine knurling,feels great in your hands. 
3. The sleeves rotate precisely on a copper alloy bushing.
4. The sleeves are grooved which will give your collars more bite when performing Olympic lifts. They are secured in place with a snap ring.
