The waelz kiln process for ZnO Production from Zn-bearing materials will includes:

 1.      Raw materials Preparation, dosing, pelletizing (if need);

2.      Oxidizing roasting and reduction in rotary kiln;

3.      Slag cooling and iron slag separation;

4.      Flue gas cooling;

5.      Bag type dust collection (finished ZnO powder)

6.      Package of finished products.

Process temperatures are in the range of 1000–1150 °C, waste gas temperatures approx. 1200 °C.
