Fischer Tropsch (Fischer Tropsch) waxes are methylene polymers that are alkanes synthesized from natural gas. Originally developed as a substitute for synthetic petroleum products, the Fischer-Tropsch process is now widely used to convert natural gas into synthetic fuels. The Fischer Tropsch process, originally developed as an alternative to petroleum products, is now widely used as a way to convert natural gas resources into synthetic fuels. FT wax consists of 90 to 95% of conventional paraffin hydrocarbons, with the rest being tertiary and methyl hydrocarbons branched at the end of the molecule.
The product description
FT (Fischer-Tropsch) synthesis refers to the carbon monoxide and hydrogen, under high pressure, with a unique catalyst synthesis of alkanes a production process. According to the requirements of downstream products (such as fuels, lubricants, waxes), the FT process can synthesize alkanes of different chain lengths and separate the alkanes by distillation.
The SX105/SX100 polymer we supply is a Fischer-Tropsch synthetic wax produced by Shell Malaysia. This advanced product has the characteristics of high melting point, low viscosity, high hardness and so on, and has excellent performance in many application fields.
Main application characteristics
Plastic industry: FT wax can be used in plastic processing, such as injection molding, extrusion and granulation industries.
SX105/SX100 polymers can be used in masterbatch and modified plastics industries to help the dispersion and excellent smoothness of the filler when mixing.
Can be used as PVC external lubricant, low viscosity can improve the production speed of the product, when the mixture is helpful for the dispersion of the color and filler, especially in the extrusion of high viscosity system has a better use than the ordinary PE wax added amount of 40~50%, and can significantly improve the surface gloss of the product.
When using strong colors, the melted SX105/SX100 can effectively wetting the dye and reduce the extrusion viscosity
Inks and coatings: when used in ink as fine powder, can improve the wear resistance and wrinkle resistance of the applied material. When applied to the coating, it can play the wrinkle effect, and when used in the micro powder state, it can form the stripe and the water grain wrinkle effect. In addition to the powder coating resin, the extrusion process plays a lubrication role, can reduce the screw torque, reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency.
Adhesive: It is the ideal synthetic wax for the use of EVA based hot melt adhesive. The wax with high melting point can improve the heat resistance and fast drying of the adhesive.
In adhesive application, SX105/SX100 features are:
1, directly through CO and H2 synthesis, without any pollution and taste, and through the FDA certification, can be directly used in food contact hot melt adhesive industry.
2. The product has low viscosity at high temperature, which can improve the fluidity of hot melt adhesive and enhance the wetting degree of the bonded surface.
3, SX105/SX100 has a high condensation point, can improve the heat resistance of hot melt adhesive.
4, the needle penetration degree is small, can improve the strength of hot melt adhesive.
5. The carbon distribution range is relatively narrow, the opening time is relatively small, and the fast drying is good.
