The hysteresis brake is a superior torque control component. It uses the principle of hysteresis to produce a certain torque by controlling the input excitation current. There is a good linear relationship between control current and output torque. It can provide smooth, stepless adjustable, speed independent torque control. In addition to bearings, there is no other friction in the system, which has the advantages of stable and reliable, high speed, low noise, long service life and low maintenance cost.
Features:

Structural features:
The hysteresis brake consists of rotor and stator poles. The rotor is made of special hysteresis material. There is a certain gap in the stator pole, and the rotor rotates in the gap. When the coil is energized, a magnetic field is generated in the gap, which makes the rotor produce hysteresis effect. When the hysteresis rotor overcomes the hysteresis force under the action of external force, it produces rated torque. The torque is only related to the magnitude of exciting current and speed, so it can realize non-contact torque transmission. Features: the excitation current is basically proportional to the output torque, the transmission torque can be controlled within 5-100% of the rated value, and the small current can control the larger output torque. Regardless of the change of slip speed, the transmitted torque can be kept basically unchanged. It can continuously slide under the allowable slip power, and has no other wearing parts except the bearing. The hysteresis brake, electromagnetic brake and brake are divided into single output shaft hysteresis brake and double output shaft hysteresis brake. According to the use space and installation form, they are widely used and have strong universality. It is mainly used in high-speed winding equipment; simulation load of life test of motor, small internal combustion engine, gearbox and other rotating devices; precise load of high-end sports equipment. Based on the standard hysteresis brake, an air cooling device is added to it. When the brake works for a long time, its temperature will rise sharply. The air-cooled hysteresis brake can operate continuously for a long time under high slip power. The torque is the same at several specific points of current, and multi axis tension control can be realized by using only one set of control system. It is mainly used for multi roll yarn, glass fiber unwinding device, cable, rope and other processing machinery.
