Introduction:

thermocouple compensating conductors are the same pair of mutual insulation wires with same thermoelectric properties in - 40 ~ 250 ℃. The temperature of the thermocouple output signal is produced by hot end temperature thermoelectric emfs minus the difference between the cold end temperatures of thermoelectric emfs. Thermocouple indexing table is given in the case of the cold end of 0 ℃, so the actual using thermocouples must compensate the thermocouple cold end temperature to 0 ℃between thermoelectric emfs.

The role of compensation conductor is should be extended the cold junction of the thermocouple to the control room or other region with stable temperature. It is conducive to display instrument automatic computing compensation

For make sure the accuracy of measuring temperature, connected to the thermocouple and display instrument must be used with dividing compensating lead wires. It’s not allowed using ordinary wire/ cable or compensating lead wires with different indexing number inconsistent.

Compensation conductor is divided into extension and compensation according to the wire core material. It is divided into regular and heat-resistant type according to the using temperature and divided into general grade and precision according to the compensation accuracy.
