Product Description
1. Sources and Habitat
Honokiol is stripped from the stems, branches, and roots and magnolia cortex honokiol is used in tradition chinese medicine, where it is known as houpu (thus the common names).
Magnolia bark is highly aromatic and contains and , two polyphenolic compound that have demonstrated both and anti anxiety properties. Magnolia bark honokiol has also been shown to reduce ellergic and asesthetic reactions. Today, the honokiol of magnolia cortex bark used for commercial and domestic use is supplied by plants in cultivation.
