A sleeve anchor, also known as an expansion bolt, is constructed of a lead sleeve, a nut, a washer and a threaded stud. Similar to strike anchors, sleeve anchors are extensively used where traditional threaded fastening is not permitted, including concrete, brick, block and the like. During installation, the metal cone is pulled into the lead sleeve and forcing the lead sleeve outward to fill all the pores of base material. In this way, the sleeve anchor are locked in the place firmly, regardless of light to heavy loads.
Composition:
A nut & washer - Screwed into the stud, a washer and a nut are used to urge the cone-shaped head of the threaded stud in the sleeve.
Lead sleeve - With four equally spaced slots, this expansive split sleeve is butted against the small diameter of the cone-shaped end before installation.
hreaded stud - Located inside of the lead sleeve, this threaded stud features an outwardly flared cone-shaped end.
Feature:
Each part is zinc plated for added corrosion resistance.
Allows for full contact over large areas to improve holding powder and minimize the risk of concrete cracking or shattering.
Locking in place firmly, not easy to be pulled out or stripped.
Superb performance with heavy-loading capacity.
Pre-assembled structure allows for immediate installation.
No maximum hole depth is required.
