Plastic optical fiber (POF) (or Polymer optical fibre) is an optical fiber which is made out of plastic. Traditionally PMMA(acrylic) is the core material, and fluorinated polymers are the cladding material. We stock several types and sizes of Polymer (PMMA) Optical Fibre and solid core light guide, including: end emitting fibre, side emitting fiber, multi-strand end glow fibre, multi-strand side glow fibre, solid side glow fibre, sparkle fibre and sheathed fibre cable.

Multi-core Side Glow cable is a side (light) emitting cable composed of several individual strands of PMMA acrylic fibers (also referred to as "plastic fiber optic")covered by a clear PVC coating, thereby increasing the brightness of multi-cores side glow optical cable. The fiber strands inside the cable are twisted a round a reflective center core. It’s available in a wide range of diameters and in several models. Better brightness and longer distance than single core side glow fiber. It’s easy to bend and construction. Resistance to cold and heat alternating , long service life. It can show unique colorful chasing effect with special light source. Decorative Fire-safe, Color Changeable and Electrically Isolated Framing Illumination and creating outline of objects such as but not limited to: Buildings, Towers, Bridges, Tunnels, Pools, Walls, Floors, Windows, Furnitures, Christmas Trees, Picture Frames, Automobiles, Planes, Boats, etc.
