Cast Alnico Magnet
Cast Alnico Magnet is a metal alloy consisting of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, iron and other trace elements of metal. With the different metal compositions of Magnetic material, its magnetic performance and purpose are also different. There are two kinds of production techonology to make an AlNiCo PM: casting and sintering. Different sizes and shapes could be processed through casting techonology. Compared with casting technology, sintered products are all small sizes and the tolerance of roughcast is smaller with better casting machinability. Cast Alnico PM has the minimum reversible tempeture coefficient, and its operating temperature can be as high as 600 degrees above. AlNiCo PM products are widely used in all kinds of instruments and other fields.
Application:
Cast Alnico magnet is widely used in all kinds of sensors and meters, electronics, instruments, medical instruments, teaching, automobile, aviation, martial and other applic- ations.
Features:
1) Alnico describes a family of materials that is derived from a common
base composition comprising of aluminum, nickel, cobalt and iron with
various additions of other elements
2) These magnets have slightly lower reversible temperature
coefficient magnetism than other permanent magnet materials, and
work excellently in temperatures up to 600oC
3) Alnico products are widely used in all kinds of meters and other applications
4) Alnico magnets in the following grades: AlNiCo 3, AlNiCo 5, AlNiCo 7,
AlNiCo 8 and AlNiCo 10
5) These products can be produced in ring, cylinder, square, segment,
and other shapes
