AirPrime MC8705

The Sierra Wireless AirPrime® MC8705 PCI Express Mini Card is a 
compact, lightweight, wireless UMTS-based modem. It provides 
GPS, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, and HSPA+ 
connectivity for portable and handheld computers, point-of-sale 
devices, telemetry products and other machine-to-machine and 
vertical applications over several radio frequency bands:
• GSM, GPRS, EDGE
850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz
• UMTS WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+
800 MHz, 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz
• Receive diversity
Optimized for diversity on 800, 850, 900, 1900 and 2100 MHz
•GPS
1575.42 MHz
The modem, based on Qualcomm's MDM8200A baseband 
processor, supports data operation on HSPA+, HSDPA, HSUPA, 
WCDMA, EDGE, and GPRS networks.
