Contact Memory Cards are used in many applications (e.g. health insurance, fuelling cards, employee ID cards). They are equipped with the simple memory chip, which is applied for data storing.
This chip can be read or encoded by contact interface. The chip card is standardized according to ISO 7816. The different kind of contact chips vary from simple memory chip to memory chip with password protection and/or additional security.
