Product Description

Light weight, in connection with high energy absorption and favorable deformation behavior of EPP, are excellent conditions for safety related components in vehicle construction.

Many types of molded EPP foam are used in automotive applications. The most EPP application in the car are energy absorbers for bumper core, door trim, head restraints, seating liners, sunvisors, toolboxes and other cushion padding. EPP manages impact energy by absorbing it, then returning to shape. It is ideal for multiple impact protection such as vehicle crash applications, and is widely used in automotive interiors to improve passenger safety.
