Table-type turntable flat screen printer
1. Structural composition
• Four-station turntable system:
This is one of the core parts of the equipment, driven by a high-precision motor and divider. The turntable is divided into four equal stations, each of which can accurately position the substrate, ensure the position accuracy during the screen printing process, and realize the continuous automation process of screen printing. The turntable workbench is equipped with fixtures and products to position and transport the products to prevent displacement during rotation.
• Screen printing system:
Printing system: The upper and lower screens are controlled by circular guide columns or linear guides, which run smoothly and precisely, and can be adjusted up and down to use products of different heights. The upper and lower screens are driven by electromagnetic valves to control the cylinders, which has obvious cost advantages.
Scraper and ink return plate: The scraper is usually made of rubber or polyurethane material with moderate hardness. It fits tightly with the screen printing plate. During the screen printing process, the ink is squeezed from the graphic part of the screen to the substrate by applying a certain pressure. The ink return plate is used to scrape the remaining ink back to the starting position after scraping, so that the ink is evenly distributed on the screen printing plate to prepare for the next printing.
• Robot system:
It consists of a robot arm and an end effector. The robot arm is generally driven by a high-precision servo motor and can achieve multi-degree-of-freedom movement, such as up and down, left and right, forward and backward movement, and rotation. The end effector is designed according to specific operating requirements. For example, it can be a gripper to grab and place the substrate to ensure the accurate transfer of the substrate between different stations.
• Control system:
It adopts advanced PLC (programmable logic controller) or industrial computer control system. Through the touch screen operation interface, the operator can accurately control the parameters such as the speed of the turntable, the station dwell time, the pressure and speed of the screen printing, and the movement trajectory of the robot. And it can store a variety of different screen printing programs to facilitate the switching of the printing process of different products.
2. Working principle
• First, at the loading station of the turntable, the substrate is grabbed and placed on the turntable manually or by a robot. The turntable rotates and brings the substrate to the screen printing station.
• At the screen printing station, the scraper applies pressure on the screen printing plate, and the ink is transferred to the substrate through the graphic part of the plate, completing the screen printing process. At this time, the ink return plate scrapes back the excess ink and prepares for the next printing.
• Finally, the turntable brings the substrate to the unloading station, and the robot grabs the substrate again and places it in the specified position, completing a complete screen printing cycle, and then the equipment can repeat the above process for continuous production.
