Direct Seal Paper

Direct Seal paper is recommended when high tear/puncture resistance is not so critical. Direct seal papers are suitable for ETO, Irradiation and Steam sterilisation. 

Material：

1.60g/70g medical grade paper + 52um PP/PET film   ETO, steam

2.60g/70g medical grade paper + 52um PE/PET film   ETO Irradiation

Coated paper

Coated paper is recommended when fibre free peels are required and/or when sealing to ridged or semi-ridged trays. Coated papers are suitable for ETO and Irradiation sterilisation. See below for stock material options and standard combinations for top and bottoms webs. 

Materials:

1,60g paper(+3gsm grid) + 52um PE/PET film

2,60g paper(+10gsm grid) + 52um PE/PET film

3,100g paper(+10gsm grid) + 52um PE/PET film

Sterilization: ETO, Irradiation

Tyvek®

Tyvek® is recommended when high puncture/abrasion resistance is critical. Tyvek® is suitable for ETO, Irradiation and H202 sterilisation. See below for stock material options and standard combinations for top and bottoms webs. 

Materials:

1,Coated/Uncoated Tyvek 1073B + 52um PE/PET film

2,Coated/Uncoated Tyvek 2FS + 52um PE/PET film

3,Coated/Uncoated Tyvek 1059B + 52um PE/PET film

Sterilization: ETO, irradiation, H2O2
