D-alpha-tocopherol is a nature source of Vitamin E. It is a clear, amber, viscous oil with a slight vegetable odor and a mild taste.

As one of the necessary vitamins of human body, D-alpha-tocopherol is widely used in the production of softgel/hard capsule and nutritional food fortification. It’s a raw material of Vitamin E’s derivatives and pharmaceuticals, an additive for high-end cosmetics and animal feed.

D-alpha-tocopherol will be oxidized exposure to the air and light and gradual darkening.  Storage should be protected by nitrogen blanketing, avoiding contacting with light, heat, transition metals and alkaline substances.
