The Metal Cascade Mini ring
It draws on the advantages of a short Rasching ring and is improved based on the Pall ring. The stainless steel ladder ring has a loop diameter of 1: 2 , a tapered flange is added at one end. The curved blades extend toward the center. As a result of the reduction of the height and the special structure of the conical flanging, not only the gas-liquid distribution in the packing layer is improved but also the gas-liquid contact point is increased, which facilitates the liquid convergence and the renewal of the membrane surface, thus enhancing the mass transfer. Ladder ring packing flux can be increased by 10-20% than Pall ring packings, pressure drop can be lowered by 30-40%, separation efficiency, depending on the specific process have different degrees of improvement. Due to the structural characteristics of the metal cascade mini ring, stainless steel ladder ring can make gas and liquid distribution uniformity, increasing the gas-liquid contacting area and improve the mass transfer efficiency. The cascade mini ring has the characteristics of thin wall, heat resistance, large gap, large flux and small resistance. It is especially suitable for vacuum rectification tower, dealing with heat sensitive, easy to decompose, easy polymerization and carbon.
Advantages:
1, Reducing the pressure drop: metal ladder ring in the gas-liquid flow path on the gap, the flux, can effectively reduce the pressure drop.
2, Increase the capacity of the reaction tower: the reaction tower capacity increase is the direct cause of pressure drop. The metal ladder ring keeps the reaction contacts away from the pressure drop contacts associated with the overflow phenomenon, which means that more gas and liquid can be processed and the reactor capacity is increased.
3, Enhancing the anti-fouling ability: the metal ladder ring pointing to the direction of the gas flow direction of the gap to the maximum, so any solid dirt can be with the gas-liquid flow through the filler layer.
4, Improving reaction efficiency: metal ladder ring to ensure maximum vertical and not parallel to the ring, this design is more prominent in the use of mass transfer. Because the reaction efficiency depends on the size of the contact surface. The design of the parallel faces makes the inner side of the ring inaccessible to the liquid, thus forming a dry surface. Dry surface in the mass transfer almost does not work, but the metal ladder ring vertical design greatly reduces the possibility of dry surface, thus effectively improve efficiency.
