UHE is two component polyurethanes that cure at room temperature to tough rubber-like materials, remaining flexible at temperatures down to even -60°C. UHE adheres to a variety of materials such as metals, concrete, rubber, wood, fiberglass and many others. Due to their low sensitivity to humidity they can also be used for coatings in thin layers and have a remarkably high tensile and tear strength.

Underwater Hydrophones Encapsulant (UHE) is a two part, room temperature curing polyurethane system, with outstanding abrasion resistance and toughness. Other specifications are as follows:

Viscosity at 25°C (Resin/Hardener): 6.700/45mPa.s

Elongation: 600%

Temperature Resistance: -60°C to +90°C

Glass Transition Temperature: < -25°C

Useful Temperature Range: +10°C to +40°C

Pot Life (at +20°C): 25minute

Cure Time: 4 days at 25°C

Color: Dark-Brown

Mixing Ratio (weight %, Resin: Hardener): 100: 50
