The APEXWOUNDCARETM IRRIGATION Kit(AWI)is a revolutionary development of debridement tool by applying powerful pulsed flushingsolution, by Pulse Irrigator, across an open wound surface to remove surface pathogens and deeper debris thoroughly. As a wound care product, it can also observably remove infectious microorganisms, foreign debris, and necrotic tissue from the wound bed during the inflammatory phase in the process of wound healing. A Wound Irrigation Bag (WIBT --- for trunk, or WIBE --- for extremity) is used to accompany with the Pulse Irrigator as a closed protective cover, to prevent the dangers of infection raised from contamination, and which allow the contaminated fluid to flow away from the wound, into the integratedcollection bag for professional safe disposal.
AWI can be widely used to treat those wound or trauma in the situation of battle wound, sports injury, earthquake hit, mechanical hurt, burns, diabetic ulcers, ulcer-decubitus, and infection after operation etc.

Specification:
1, Position the patient’s body for convenient treatment.
2, Locate the Wound Irrigation Bagcorrectly over a wound area at patient’s body.
For Trunk (include sacral, hip, back, abdomen and chest) wound treatment, to set the adhesiveside of the WIBT over the treatment area, water tight sealed, enabling easy access for treatment, and keep collecting tube inlet at the lowest point.
For Extremity ( include arm, leg, or even a portion of head ) wound treatment, to sleeve the WIBE onto patient’s arm or leg to over cover the treatment area, water tight sealed, enabling easy access for treatment, and keep collecting tube inlet at the lowest point.
3, Place the collection bag into a container with its inlet upward. Be sure the collecting tube is not twisted.
4, Hang solution bag and battery pack of Irrigatoron IV pole and attach hose tip to the solution bag.
5, Insert Irrigator tip into the access sleeve and start treatment.
6, After treatment finished, remove Irrigator from the access sleeve and also the Wound Irrigation Bag from patient’s body downward, and then put it into the container, with tube knotted, for further disposal.
