Application

APEXSUTURETM Disposable Skin Stapler is an easy handled single-use surgical device for closure of skin. It has application in abdominal, gynecological, orthopedic, and thoracic surgery etc. It places one staple each time the instrument trigger is activated. The staples first penetrate the skin and are then formed, holding the tissue together. It provides a quick, less pain, less blood loss and less complication of better post-result closure performance comparing with the conventional suture. The Staple Remover is applied to remove the formed staples when the incision healed.

Discard after use. Do not reuse, reprocess or resterilize this Disposable Skin Stapler. 

Specification

APEXSUTURETM Disposable Skin Staplers are available in two sizes: Wide or W ( 7.0mm×4.0mm in the closed position ) and Regular or R ( 5.9mm×3.9mm in the closed position ). They are of the same staple diameter of 0.6mm.

Operation

1, Approximate the skin edges in an everted fashion by applying traction with a pair of teethed forceps to both ends of incision. Make certain edges are everted.

2, Place the instrument nose gently onto the approximated tissue with the directional arrow at the middle of the incision.

3, Squeeze the trigger completely and release. Failure to completely squeeze the trigger may result in incomplete staple formation,  insufficient wound approximation or staple jammed.
