Whole rhizomes and roots of the cylindrical shape of varying length, thickness: roots - 7-50 mm, rhizomes - 7-150 mm. The roots and rhizomes from the outside covered with a thin layer of cork. In the rhizomes noticeable core, the roots do not. The cross section observed numerous medullary rays that diverge from the center and permeate yellowish wood and highly developed cortex. Along the medullary rays are often formed in the roots of radial cracks. |
