Soya Bean belongs to the legumes family and is native to the East Asia. Soya bean has been an imperative protein source in Orient for more than 5000 years. As soybean matures in the pod, it ripens into dry and hard beans. Although most of the soybeans are yellow, a few rare varieties are also there which are of black, green or brown colour. Soyabean has source of protein and is free from cholesterol, as these are known as vegetable meat as its flavor is related to meat.
