Description
The TPD32 EV – FC series of digital field regulators offers substantial advantages with the use of high-power motors, where standard control units integrated in armature converters do not have the necessary field control capabilities.
The 4-quadrant versions are a technical and cost-effective solution for managing speed reversal of 2-quadrant bridges, while guaranteeing high-level control dynamics through the use of an optical fibre system to provide advanced master/slave management.
The TPD32 EV – FC series of regulators are also suitable for controlling various DC loads (except motors) such as galvanic and magnetic loads, etc.

• For 575 V type B TPD32 converters and 575/690 V type C converters, which are usually installed in a
second-type environment: in this case UKD values of around 2% can be used, with the advantage that
smaller reactors are required. Otherwise, if UKD must be = 4%, always comply with the values shown in
the relative columns.
