The processed products are durable, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing to cut. Its relative density is small, 0.5 times that of the alloy, and its strength is high, twice that of the alloy. Steel paper can be cut, drilled, pressed, stamped, planed, bent, ground, etc. without causing delamination or fracture.

Steel paper is widely used for electrical insulation and high-temperature insulation. Ordinary steel paper with a thickness of 2mm can withstand up to 10000 volts, withstand high temperatures above 100 ° C, and withstand low temperatures below -40 ° C. It is a very useful insulation material for various high-voltage electrical appliances, mainly used for making welding masks, high-temperature gaskets for various motor tools, insulation insulators for various household appliances, and grinding wheel substrates for polishing. The electrical industry can only produce insulation gaskets, parts, and protective layers for various electrical rotors, mainly used in industries such as aerospace, machinery, textiles, electrical appliances, and railways.
