Product Description
Lutein and zeaxanthin are the main components of vegetable pigments, such as vegetables, fruits and flowers, and are the only carotenoids found in the eye, which are found in the macula of the eye. In 1995, the FDA listed lutein as a food supplement. In 2007, the ministry of health of China added lutein as a food coloring agent and a nutrition fortifier on the list of new products for food additives.
