Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) is a leading point to multi-points technology widedly used in FTTx deploymnets. GPON consists of an optical line terminal (OLT) at central office node, one or more optical network units (ONU) or optical network terminals (ONT) at user nodes , and the optical distribution network (ODN) between them. SH GPON OLT SFP Optical Transceivers provide 2.5Gbps downstream at 1490nm wavelength and 1.25Gbps upstream at 1310nm wavelength up to 20km over a single mode fiber.
