General Information:
UNDL-330 Cable Fault Locator is applied for detecting the different cable faults including: open circuit broken fault, high impedance leakage and high impedance flash over fault. It's suitable for various 35KV and below copper aluminum core power cables, coaxial telecommunication cable, and local cable.
The system is including:

UNDL-330 S Cable Fault Tester

Reading Frequency: V/2f V is the electric wave's propagation velocity  in the cable (m/μs). f is sampling frequency (MHz). For example the oil-paper cable's propagation velocity is V=160m/μs, f=40MHz sampling, the reading frequency is 160/ (2×40) =2m.
Presetting 5 types electric wave's propagation velocity of cable medium:
Oil-paper: 160m/μs
XLPE: 172m/μs
PVC: 184m/μs
Rubber Cables for Coal Mine: 100m/μs
Others non-power cable's propagation velocity of electric wave are settable. (Medium is at user's option)

UNDL-330D Digital Cable Fault Locator

It's used to locate the power cable insulated fault point, route, depth accurately,

Digital display distance: Max. 500m, Min. 0.1m.
Rough test error is less than 10%, locating error is 0.

Electromagnetic channel receiver sensitivity <5μV
Audio channel frequency amplifier <120dB SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) is 100 times when at 4:1.

Audio & electric synchronous display: when do the locating test on site , the digital screen to repeat counting one time under the shocking of electromagnetic which formed by pulse high voltage. And to display the fault distance or fully lighted (500m). The high impedance earphone could detect the seismic wave generated by impulsive discharging breakdown.
To change the sound wave sensor probe to the 15 KHz electromagnetic one, it could be used as accurate cable route and depth detecting test.

UNDL-330L Route Tracer
Route tracing signal source, to be equipped with locator to find the route of underground cable.
