Principle and structure of film output machine
• Principle: As a common film output machine, the laser typesetting machine uses a laser beam to expose and scan the film according to the digital image signal sent by the computer. The high energy of the laser causes the photosensitive layer on the film to react chemically and record the image information.
• Structure: It is mainly composed of a laser generator, an optical system, a film transmission system, a control system, etc. The laser generator generates a laser beam of a specific wavelength and intensity. The optical system is responsible for focusing, modulating and scanning the laser beam. The film transmission system ensures that the film moves at a uniform speed and accurately. Film is equivalent to a template. In the production of steel plate mesh, it determines the shape, position and accuracy of the image on the mesh. In the exposure stage, ultraviolet rays pass through the transparent part of the film, causing the photosensitive material on the mesh to react photochemically and solidify to form the image part. The unexposed part is removed during development, thereby replicating the pattern on the film.
Methods of making film
Usually, professional graphic design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, etc.) is used for design, and the required graphic information is converted into a digital image format. Then a laser imagesetter or direct platemaker is used to output the image information onto film. When making, ensure that the image resolution is high enough, generally above 1200dpi, to ensure the clarity and accuracy of the pattern.
