What is Bungee Dance and Why Do It?
Dancing with bungee cords or Bungee Dance is fun and a good core work-out. We have used bungee in bungee trapeze since 2001. Now fitness and dance studios are using bungee. Our Half-time performances at Denver’s Pepsi Center for the opening game of Denver’s Mammoth Lacrosse team and Denver’s Arena Football team the Crush got us started with Bungee. It is a lot of fun and an adrenaline rush. You need a high ceiling for Bungee Trapeze since you will be flipping and flying under the trapeze bar. The Cirque Du Soleil show “Saltambanco” featured four acrobats doing bungee trapeze in a high arena space. As with so many aerial innovations that Cirque du Soleil pioneered Bungee Dance caught the imagination of many.
