Socket Welding Forged Gate Valve product description

Socket Welding Forged Gate valves are suitable for using on various kinds of pipeline from Class150 To Class2500, DN15 To DN100 to cut off or connect the flowing of medium. By using different material, the Socket Welding Forged Gate Valve could be suitable for medium such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing substance, carbamide and etc. 

Socket welding connection is used for not very high pressure with small nominal diameter, while butt welding is generally for high pressure.Butt welding usually should be done 100% NDT to ensure there is no leaking. For high pressure or some severe working condition, butt welding connection should be adopted for its better weld strength and force bearing.
