The alias of 4- nitrophthalic anhydride is 4- nitrobenzene anhydride. Nitrophthalic anhydride. CAS RN: 546-84-2. The appearance is colorless or grayish yellow acicular crystals. Soluble in hot alcohol, acetic acid and acetone, insoluble in water. Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated areas, away from incompatible substances and avoid moisture. This product is used as the intermediate of fluorescene fluorescence and also used in the determination of alcohol.
