Ozone sterilization belongs to biology chemical oxidation reaction: acts on the bacterial cell membrane, making it more permeable, the cytoplasm outflow and then die; oxidizes and decomposes the enzyme of microorganism, which is necessary in the glucose of bacteria; kills bacteria and viruses by destroying the intracellular enzyme system or entering cells and destroying nucleic acid chemicals.

Ozone is widely used for disinfection and purification, which is non-toxic, harmless and without any residue. During the water cycle of the aquarium, the water quality has been significantly improved after ozone treatment, which can not only kill the spores, fungi, viruses, algae, etc., but also reduce the ammonia nitrogen content in the water and remove excessive heavy metal ions such as iron, manganese and copper.
