We produced according to National Standard of GB/T 22078.2-2008 of the People’s Republic of China.

 Range of application

It is suitable for single-core cable’s installation and operation under normal conditions of rated voltage 290/500 KV, but it is not suitable for cable in special use, such as submarine cable.

Characteristics of cable

●Rated voltage of cable is U0=290 KV、U=500 KV、Um=550 KV.

●The allowable maximum temperature of cable conductor is 90℃ when it runs in normal, and 250℃ when it short circuited (Longest time is 5 s).

●The allowable minimum bending radius is 20 times of cable outside diameter when installed. After installation  , the minimum bending radius is recommended for 15 times of cable outside diameter.

 Service environment( Place )

●Lead sheath cable, is suitable for environment with more serious corrosion but no much nitric acid, acetic acid and organic matter ( Such as mud, coal and strong alkaline corrosion matter with technical force, stress and vibration etc.)

●Aluminium sheath cable, is suitable for environment with minor corrosion and required to bear a certain mechanical force ( For example, connected with transformer directly and laying at bridge opening or in shaft etc.)

●Metal plastic compound sheath cable is suitable for general damp and warm place , no corrosion or light corrosion and no direct contact with water and bear not so much technical force , pulling force , stress and vibration.

●PVC outer sheath cable is mainly used in cable line with general fire-proof requirement and insulation requirement for outer sheath.

●PE outer sheath cable is mainly suitable for directly buried laying cable line with higher requirement on outer sheath insulation, low temperature environment under 20℃, or soaked place by chemical liquid and low toxicity requirement when cable burns, when PE outer sheath is used in tunnel or shaft , fire-control and flame-retardant measures should be adopted if necessary.

A. Single-core copper conductor with rated voltage of 290/500 KV, nominal sectional area of 1200 mm2, so XLPE insulated corrugated aluminium sheath PVC sheath power cable will be represented as : YJLW02-290/500 KV - 1×1200 GB/T 22078.2-2008.

B. Single-core copper conductor with rated voltage of 290/500 KV , nominal sectional area of 2500 mm2, so XLPE insulated corrugated lead sheath PVC sheath longitudinally water blocking power cable  will be represented as : YJQ03-Z-290/500 KV- 1×2500 GB/T22078.2-2008.
