The raw material of FBE coating is made of solid epoxy resin, curing agent and many auxiliary agents through mixing and grinding, which is thermosetting material.During the hot compress, the steel tube shall be heated to 220-230c first, and epoxy powder shall be sprayed on the surface of the steel tube by electrostatic adsorption method. The steel tube shall be fused and bonded by heat and then cooled and solidified.The thickness of single-layer FBE anti-corrosion coating is 300-500um, and the thickness of DPS (double-layer FBE) is generally controlled at 450-1000um.FBE anticorrosive layer has many advantages, such as superior adhesion, high insulation, soil stress resistance, aging resistance, cathodic stripping resistance, bacteria resistance and low cathodic protection current (only 1-5ua /m).But there are also disadvantages of poor mechanical impact resistance and high water absorption.
