Black silicon Carbide

Black silicon carbide is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal) and wood chips as raw materials through a resistance furnace with high temperature smelting. Of the non oxide high technology refractory materials such as C, N and B, silicon carbide is the most widely used and most economical kind of refractory material.

With high thermal conductivity, high chemical stability, excellent hot strength, superior thermal shock resistance and abrasion resistance, refractory grade silicon carbide can be widely used in bonded refractory products, refractory cement, and electronic heating elements.

We can supply different grade of Black SiC Powder for refractory materials in the quantity of 3,000 tons per month.
