Butyl Waterproof Tape

Description

Butyl waterproof tape is a kind of lifetime non-solidifying self-adhesive sealing tape which is made of butyl rubber as the main raw material and other additives. It has strong adhesion to various materials surfaces. It haas excellent weather resistance, aging resistance and waterproof ability. The product is completely solvent free, so it does no shrink and does ot emit toxic gases. Because it does not solidify wholelife, it has excellent follow-up to thermal expansion and contraction and mechanical deformation of the surfaces. It is an advanced waterproof sealing material nowadays.

Application

Besides general use, butyl tape also can be used in different industries area.

1. Insulate the cables from electricity, maintain of terminal of power cable and intermediate joints. Seal the joint of base station, antennas and ground wire.

2. Make the insulated wires waterproof.

3. Protect the tunnel, subway, box culvert, bridge and aviation from leakage.

4. Seal the structural joint of underground project and building.

5. Bond the gap of steel structure house and sun room, overlap the gap between steel plate and concrete, stick the crack of metal pipe due to corrosion.

6. Insulate and protect the electrical component from leakage.

Storage & Transportation
Should be stored under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extreme temperature; In tropical climates the product must be stored in an air-condition environment, Shelf life is up to 12 months when stored as per-recommended storage condition.
