CHARACTERISTICS: Colorless transparent liquid 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Intramuscular injection. Once the ovarian quiescence of the dairy cow is diagnosed, start Ovsynch procedure. For estrus induction, start the Ovsynch procedure about 50 days after delivery. Ovsynch procedure is described as follows: Administer 100~200μg gonadorelin per animal at the first day; Administer 0.5mg cloprostenol sodium 7 days after the first injection. Administer the same dosage of gonadorelin 48 hours after the cloprostenil sodium injection. Perform insemination 18~20 hours after the second gonadorelin injection.

PHARMACOLOGY: Hormone drugs. Intravenous or intramuscular injection of a physiological dose of gonadorelin (GnRH) caused a significant increase of LH and a slight increase of FSH in plasma, prompting egg maturation and ovulation of ovary in female animals or testis development and sperm maturation in male animals. After intramuscular injection to the dairy cow, gonadorelin is rapidly absorbed and quickly metabolized into inactive fragments in plasma, and then eliminated by urine.
