The 4CX1000A is a forced air-cooled, cermet structured beam power tetrode with an oxide-coated cathode. Its anode power dissipation is 1kW. It has high gains and is suitable for use as RF linear amplifiers, audio frequency amplifier. At a rated anode voltage of 3kw, it can output 1630w peak envelope power. Two 4CX1000A tubes serving at class AB1 can output 3260w audio power.
