The forced air cooled 3CX1500A7 electronic tube works at a frequency of 250MHz and the anode dissipation is 1500W. In audio or radio frequency applications including VHF, the tube can be used as a cathode-driven Class AB2 or B amplifier or a cathode-driven plate modulated Class C amplifier.
