Properties

Silane OSi HIOSil MTEO, has sulfhydryl-base function groups, and has special efficiency when as antirust of metal surface. Disposing metal surface (gold, silver, copper) with it , can strengthen its surface to anti-corrupt, anti-oxidant and improve the sticking property between macromolecule ( resin) and it.

In rubber industry, usually used to deal with inorganic filling, such as white carbon black, carbon black, fiberglass, mica, etc, can effectively improve mechanics performance and wear-resisting performance of the rubber. In the textile industry, can be used in the shrink proof finishing of the fabric.

Applications

Silane OSi HIOSil MTEO is used as additive and adhesion in applications as below:

§ Glass composites:  

As a finish or a size ingredient

§ Glass and metal primer

§ Sealants and adhesives:

As a primer, additive, or for chemical modification of the polymer

§ Mineral filled polymer:

For pretreatment of fillers and pigments or as an additive

§ Crosslinker of polymers

Keep away from heat and open flame. When stored at or below 35 ℃ in the original
