Hollow cathode lamp (HCL) is a special light source that generates characteristic atomic emission lines from a specific element, or multiple elements, of interest for Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer ( AAS )

Our lamps use the-state-of-art technology and using advanced vacuum process equipment in the manufacturing process. Each HCL is capable of producing highly stable and intensive emissions. Our lamps are compatible to all modern domestic and foreign made atomic absorption spectrophotometers (AAS) and atomic fluorescence spectrophotometers (AFS).  

1.5 inch(37mm) lamps work with mostly brands AAS such as Varian, Hitachi, shimadzu etc.

2.0 inch(50mm) lamps a littler larger, especially work with Perkin Elemer brand AAS.

Our lamps mostly advantages are: longer lifetime(>5000 hours for mostly elements)

High intensity and low noisy.

Suitable to be used with various brands absorption atomic spectrophotometers, Such as: Australia GBC, Japan Hitachi, Shimadzu, USA Varian, Thermo Electron, Germany Analytik Jena, Buck Scientific, Labtron etc.

1. Starting Voltage:  ≤350V(compatible to all commercial AAS systems)

2. Background intensity :The background intensity near the main analytical line is less than 1% of the intensity of the analytical line.

3.  Warm-uptime:  <30min, 5to 15min typical.
4. Stability:       ≤+1% to -1%

                  (baseline drift of copper lamp: <1% in 30 min;

                  baseline drift of other lamps: <1% in 5 min.)
5. Noise:         less than <0.3%

6. Life:            ≥5000 mA-h typical, for lamps made of most

                  ≥3000mA-h typical, for lamps made of fusible and volatile elements

                  Longer than other lamps, our lamps could be put aside for long time. 
7. Maximum current: between10--30mA, PE lamp a little higher.

8. Lamp structure: socket special design guarantee cathode foot could directly connect with connection pipe, compact structure, firm, easy use.

9. Launching performance: unique cathode circumstances, guarantee to give average and quick lighting function.

10. Supper pure spectral performance: radiation spectral line is powerful and stable, not have other cathode material element, inserted noble gas etc influence, which could guarantee give continuously and stable light.
