Anhydrous magnesium chloride is a byproduct of sponge titanium. Its produced by the reaction of metal magnesium and titanium tetrachloride “Mg+TiCl4=Ti+MgCl2” in a high-temperature sealed container. The original anhydrous magnesium chloride liquid is poured into a steel container after the reaction and cooled for 24 hours to form anhydrous magnesium chloride blocks, which will be further processed into different shapes such as lump, flake and powder with customed sizes according to customer requirements.
