Description
DOLPHON CC-1105 s a single-pack, 100% solid polyester resin with low viscosity, specifically designed for impregnation and baking applications without pre-heating equipment, as well as continuous impregnation processes.
Applications
Impregnation of stators, rotors, high-speed armatures, traction coils, transformers, and sealed motors.
Processing Guidelines
DOLPHON CC-1105 s suitable for impregnation and baking applications, as well as conveyor systems.
Due to its low viscosity, it can be used without pre-heating, but it is always recommended to keep the resin stable at 25-35°C for consistent quality throughout the seasons.
The required time depends on the dimensions and weight of the equipment. Recommended baking times for specific applications are as follows:
15-30 minutes @ 175°C,
30-45 minutes @ 165°C,
60-90 minutes @ 150°C,
2-3 hours @ 135°C,
4-6 hours @ 120°C.
The time starts once the unit reaches the curing temperature.
To achieve a higher coating on the equipment, it is recommended to introduce them into an oven already heated to the selected curing temperature.
Dolphon CC-1105 eacts with bare copper and copper alloys. In such cases, the addition of anti-tarnish additive 551/D can prevent this phenomenon. Dolphon CC-1105 eacts with natural rubber; therefore, it is not recommended to use rubber in impregnation equipment.
Storage Conditions - Shelf Life
The shelf life is 18 months when stored in the original sealed container at a maximum of 30°C, avoiding direct sunlight.
