Composite Long Rod Insulator
Product Description
Composite long rod insulators are primarily used in suspension strings in straight-line supports and as tension strings in anchor towers and dead-end towers. They are also used in the jumpers or portals of outdoor substations. In some cases, composite long rods are used in the guys of wooden poles, and more rarely in the guys of steel towers.

- Voltage Class (Um): 12 kV – 500 kV.
- Mechanical Class (SML): 40 kN – 630 kN.
- For suspension and tension application.
- ECR Glass (boron free) brittle fracture resistant FRP rod (hydrolysis- and acid-resistant).
- HTV silicone rubber with hydrophobicity transfer mechanism for highest pollution performance and self-cleaning.
- Direct injection silicone molding process prevents partial-discharges.
- Easy installation and low maintenance.
- Forged steel end fittings according to IEC 61466-1 and ANSI C29.2.
