Cup head pins is a kind of weld insulation pins, they are fabricated by a round washer head with a nail, the head diameter is available in 25mm, 30mm and 38mm, the nail diameter is available in 14 Gauge (2.0mm), 12 Gauge( 2.7mm) or 10 Gauge (3.4mm), the material is available in stainless steel, mild steel, when it is mild steel version, the pin can be galvanized or copper coated. Our cup head pins are mostly sold to US, Canada or Europe market, In US and Canada, customers purchase them at 30mm (1-3/16") head, the pin diameter is in 12 Gauge, the length will be 3/8" 1" 1-/8" 1-/1/2" 1-7/8" 2" 3" 4" up to 8-1/2" etc. In Europe, customer purchase them at 22mm, 27mm, 32mm, 38mm, 42mm, 48mm, 52mm, 62mm etc, the head is in mild steel galvanized, but the pin will be copper coated or galvanized, customer also need the pin insulated or head insulated or both insulated.

Cup head pin is a label saving insulation pin, they are welded by a stud welding machine, the application is very simple, when the insulation is ready on the sheet metal, put the cup head pin on the weld gun, weld them directly through the insulation to secure insulation. They now are widely accepted for in the thermal and acoustical insulation markets for use in industrial and commercial applications. Such as duct insulation, shipbuilding insulation etc.
