Description
Mosi2 heating element is a kind of resistance heating element basically made of high pure Molybdenum Disilicide. In oxidizing atmosphere, a layer of compact quartz protective film is formed on the surface of Mosi2 element owing to the high-temperature combustion, which prevent Mosi2 from continuously oxidizing. In oxidizing atmosphere, its max temperature can reach 1800℃， and its applicable temperature is 500-1700℃. According to shape , it can be divide into “pole “ “U” “W”. Special shape such as right angle shape and bend angle shape can be produced according to customer’s request.

It is widely used in various high temperature electric furnaces and other electric heating devices, such as in the industries of magnet, ceramics, powder metallurgy, glass metallurgy and machinery etc. Our main products include silicon carbide heating element and Mosi2 heating element with various types such as U type, three phase type, equal diameter type, and other heterotypic..
Advantage
Mosi2 heating element can quickly form a thin and adhesive anti-oxidizing layer of quartz glass(Sio2), under the high temperature oxidizing condition. If the protective layer was damaged, the element can reform a new one, so Mosi2 heating element has a very good anti-oxidation properties, it also means that the heating element can be used on operation for a much longer time than the traditional one.
The resistivity of the Mosi2 heating element is not changing with the time, so a new one can be installed without effecting the old one, this can result of huge saving in furnace maintenance fee sand time as well, increase the working efficiency, this is the key point of Mosi2 heating element being a better material and being widely used.
Pay Attention To The Point
1. Mosi2 heating element is hard and fragile, during the transportation anc installation should be careful, keep in a dry and ventilated place to prevent aluminum spray out of the digestion and deliquescence，
2. Mosi2 heating element should not be used within the range of 400-700 ℃ long time ,or else ,the element will due to low temperature oxidation effect and become powder，
3. The resistance of Mosi2 heating element generally does not change with the length of usage time, so the new and used components can be mixed
